Benefits of Vitamins For Reducing Cataract Prevalence

In the journal Ophthalmology, July 2015, a study found that dietary intake of vitamin B lowers cataract risk. The authors reported that intake of riboflavin, niacin, and vitamins B6 and B12 was associated with reduced cataract prevalence at baseline and/or progression to more advanced types of cataract.
